This vivid map of the world by Lucien Boucher presents Air France's extensive and growing flight network, with routes radiating out from Paris to many parts of the world. Routes extend as far as Santiago, Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), and Stockholm (with many stops in between). The path from France to New York is still shown as a ship route as the first commercial flight between the two cities didn't occur until 1946. The continents are richly illustrated with natives and wildlife, while the seas are filled with various ships and merpeople. Further decorated by a banner title cartouche, compass roses, and borders featuring wind heads. Published by Perceval in Paris.
