This is a nice example of Blaeu's map of Scotland. It extends to include the Hebrides and has an inset of the Orkney Islands. It is beautifully decorated with the title cartouche topped by the arms of Scotland with the royal coat of arms of James VI above. French text on verso, published between 1640-50.

A dark impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with light printer's ink residue and marginal soiling.
