This large map on two joined sheets covers the heart of Spain with Madrid at center. The map provides detailed information on the topography and distinguishes the major cities, fortifications and university towns, as well as hundred of tiny villages and roads. It covers the Mediterranean coastline from Tarragona to Alicante and inland to the border with Portugal. The title cartouche is festooned with symbols of war and incorporates a legend.
