This detailed map focuses on the region surrounding Dresden along the Elbe River. Extensive tables flank the map and identify the locations of cities, forests, rivers, mountains, and even individual homesteads, as well as a detailed explanation of each of the symbols on the map. The armorial shields of key cities are shown at bottom, and the allegorical title cartouche features a queen, a river god, and Artemis with hunting dogs.
