This terrific small map of the Western Hemisphere features the Island of California with a flat northern coast and part of the coast of New Zealand. Land von Jesso is visible along the western edge of the map, near Japan. The depiction of Hudson Bay is odd, with a large landmass bisecting the bay. This is the second state of the plate, without decorative medallions, Diemens Land, or a completed New Guinea coastline.
