These two engravings appeared in Atlas Methodique et Elementaire de Geographie et d'Histoire, published by Louis Charles Desnos. The first sheet depicts the beginning of the Great Flood with Noah's Ark in the background. The second sheet presents the various divisions of history in tree/branch form. The decorative borders for each sheet were printed from a separated plate, making this a very expensive production for the publisher.
