This "cartograph" by Don Bloodgood presents the United States' capital city in an appealing cartoon style. The Capitol, White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the Pentagon, and much more are depicted. The city teems with humorous figures going about their business: a Union and Confederate veteran seated on either side of the Soldier's Home; a motorcade with a flat tire on Pennsylvania Avenue; an artist working on a painting of the Capitol; and a naked man hiding from the policeman who found his clothes near Potomac Park. A numbered key identifies 87 locations of interest, divided into the categories of Edifices, Parks and Plazas, and Hotels. A Mirro-Krome Production, printed by H.S. Crocker Co. There are color photographs of various monuments on verso. Self-folds into a brochure with the title A Pic-Tour Map of Washington D.C.
