This rare and extremely detailed map spans from Everett in the north to Seattle and Lake Washington in the south. It delineates the real estate holdings in the region, with an emphasis on land owned by Puget Mill Company, which is highlighted in green. Their dominance in the region is especially apparent in the Alderwood Manor development just south of Everett. Three of the company's real estate offices are indicated with red overprinting. The Seattle Everett Interurban Railway (defunct as of 1939) is traced in red, as is the stretch of Pacific Highway running from Seattle to Everett. Key below the title identifies roads (county and paved), railroads (steam and electric), city limits, county boundaries, swamps, rivers and streams, government lots and acreage, and section numbers. Drawn by Edwin C. Poland, who served for many years as the Chief Cartographer at the Seattle-based Kroll Map Company. Published in conjunction with Puget Mill Company's Real Estate Department.
