This large-format World War II-related map was designed by Frank A. de Vine Hunt and delineates the movements of Prime Minister Winston S. Churchill during the war. Among the notable events shown here are the "Atlantic Charter" meeting, conferences in Washington and Moscow, his trip to Normandy, his visit to Paris and the French front, and the Yalta Conference. Routes are color-coded by year. The key specifies journeys undertaken by sea, air, rail, and road. Below the map are 10 illustrations of the various ships and planes Churchill traveled in. Printed and published by George Philip & Son, Ltd. Issued to World Books members in April 1956 in conjunction with their reprint of Churchill's memoirs. On a full sheet measuring 45.8 x 36.0". Includes a slipcase with a black & white photograph of Churchill on the front.

A crisp, bright example, issued folding with a couple minor splits at fold intersections and a bit of faint extraneous creasing. Slipcase is lightly foxed with moderate shelf wear.
