This beautiful map of Scandinavia extends to the Baltic States and a portion of northeastern Russia including Moscow and St. Petersburg. This version is based upon Johann Baptist Homann's map produced approximately 50 years earlier. The map is decorated by a rococo-style title cartouche at upper left and a second cartouche with 5 distance scales located at lower right.

A nice impression with full contemporary color with professional repairs to minor separations along the centerfold and to short tears along the edges of the sheet.
