This is a lovely bird's-eye view of Annecy, an important city within the Duchy of Savoy. The buildings and fortifications in this view are given a three-dimensional perspective, and a numbered key at bottom identifies over 30 locations. The title appears in a banner alongside putti and the city's coat of arms emblazoned with a fish.

A dark impression on a bright sheet with a large wreath watermark. There are a few spots of foxing and dampstains confined to the edges of the sheet.
