Budapest is at the heart of this handsome map. It covers most of present day Hungary, but also includes a bit of Austria with Vienna in the upper left corner. Richly engraved with mountains, cities and forests and a title cartouche with the coat of arms, a river god, Pan, a cherub, and a female figure symbolizing the bounty of the land. German text on verso, published between 1634-35.

A crisp impression with light, scattered foxing, a brown spot caused by a paper flaw at bottom right, and short centerfold separations at top and bottom that have been archivally repaired.
