This well-written reference tells the story of the American battle for independence with the help of maps, many of them reproduced here for the first time since their original appearance. Accompanying each map is a clearly written commentary describing the event portrayed. Lavishly illustrated with historic images, 54 maps in full-color and endpaper maps, 218 pages. Narrative by Don Higginbotham. Hardbound in blue buckram with pictorial dust jacket. In this example, the final page of map overlays has been excised, and the overlays have been added to their corresponding maps.
