This handsomely produced book highlights 60 paintings, drawings, and prints of the American West from the collection of the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Written by senior curator Gary Allen Hood, the book was published in conjunction with the exhibit of the same name, which ran at the museum from January to April 2006. It includes full color illustrations of works by Audubon, Bodmer, Catlin, Moran, and more. 96 pages. Hardbound in brown cloth with gilt titles on cover and spine and an illustrated dust jacket.
