This large map of the United States focuses on the many Indian Reservations in the United States as of 1888. Reservations are named and depicted in orange overprinting. The map also shows military stations, towns and villages, railroads, and Indian agencies. Includes insets of Alaska and Indian Territory at bottom. Compiled under the direction of John H. Oberly, Commissioner of Indian Affairs.

A bright, clean example, issued folding, with a binding trim at left that excised a portion of the neatline. There is light color offsetting.
