A beautiful bird's-eye view of this picturesque region extends from Casco Bay in Portland, Maine, inland to Sebago Lake, with New Hampshire's Mt. Washington and the Crawford Notch in the distance. The vista extends to Lewiston, Harpswell, Freeport, and Gorham among the many communities shown. The routes between the islands that the Casco Bay ships ran at that time are noted (Casco Bay Lines ferry services are still active in this region). This attractive view folds into beige paper wrappers (3.8 x 6.9") with an alternate title on front cover: Remember Riverton - Map Showing Portland's Famous Seashore Resorts.
