This detailed sketch of the military action of Bunker Hill is filled with information. Charlestown has the note "set on fire when the Redoubt was Stormed." Good detail depicts troop and ship placement, topography, lines of fire, troop movements, and more. Published at a time of great interest in the American Revolution, when many maps of battles appeared in books and magazines, including this example from the Analectic Magazine. The title notes the map was copied by I. A. Chapman from the original taken by Henry de Berniere of the 14th Regiment of Infantry and now in the hands of J. Cist Esq. Large table gives eighteen references keyed to the map. Engraved by Kneass, Young & Co., Isaac A. Chapman. A detailed battle plan from this seldom seen Philadelphia-based magazine.
