This uncommon large-scale chart depicts the western coast of Ireland from just south of Donegal Bay to the mouth of the Shannon River. The chart is based on the work of Captain Joseph Huddart (1741–1816), a British hydrographer. The waters are filled with soundings, rocks, shoals, and safe anchorages, with numerous place names along the coast. Several mountains are depicted inland, close to the coast. The engraved Depot de la Marine seal appears at bottom right, along with the price: Prix. Deux Francs.
