This striking map focuses on northern Spain. Political divisions, towns and cities, rivers, and mountains are identified, and a portion of Portugal is detailed as well. An elaborate strapwork title cartouche appears at bottom left, and five distance scales are encompassed in a cartouche at bottom right.
