This large, boldly engraved map of the Schleswig-Holstein region names the fortified cities of Tonning, Husum, Sonderborg, Flensborg, and Sleswight. Shoals and passages are fully engraved in the sea. Decorated by a banner-style title cartouche being held aloft by putti and a distance scale featuring the region's coat of arms.
