This handsome map extends from the Mediterranean to the Persian Gulf, including parts of Turkey and Cyprus. The map is filled with ancient place names, political boundaries, mountains, and the river systems in the area. This is a re-engraved edition of Philippe de la Rue's 1651 map, published by Pierre Mortier.
