This detailed map of India shows an intricate system of roads, along with towns, political boundaries and mountain ranges. The map includes an inset of the mouth of the Ganges River detailing shoals and depth soundings. The sheet is adorned with a rococo title cartouche and a vignette featuring an elephant.

A nice impression on a bright sheet with a birdhouse watermark, light soiling and foxing, and a crease to the left of the centerfold. There are dampstains confined to the edges of the sheet, not affecting the image.
