Mercator's World magazine was founded by Edward Aster and published 44 issues from 1996-2003. The publication is an authoritative reference resource with many articles and illustrations covering a wide range of topics about antique maps, mapmakers, and exploration as well as modern mapmaking. This lot includes the entire 44 issue series. The first volume is housed in its own original elegant faux-leather red slipcase, with "Mercator's World" in gilt on the spine.
