This richly illustrated history covers the discovery and exploration of North America from the voyages of the Vikings to the expeditions to the West. Folio, 254 pp. with more than 350 illustrations, both maps and engravings, some in color. Hardbound in simulated brown leather with gilt title on front cover and spine, with illustrated dust jacket.

Contents are very good with light toning on the endpapers and pastedown. Covers have just a hint of wear along the bottom edge of the spine. Dust jacket is price clipped with light wear.
