These two maps together cover the region from the Mason-Dixon line north to Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. Each presents good detail of the river systems, topography, and county boundaries. County seats are located and named, while other towns and settlements are numbered. These town names can be derived from a combination of the town number and location coordinates listed on the accompanying index pages. Includes inset maps of New York City and Philadelphia. Engraved by N. & S.S. Jocelyn.
