The map is embellished with three strapwork cartouches and a large compass rose. The names of all the hundreds are numbered and listed at top right. Drawn by John Norden and engraved by William Kip, whose imprints appear above and below the distance scale. Dated 1605 but published in the 1610 edition of Camden's Britannia, prior to the addition of a plate number on the map.
