This plan of Dublin by the Civics Institute of Ireland covers the central city area in great detail. A legend at top right identifies commercial, industrial, residential, institutional, and undeveloped areas; port and docks property; public institutions; destroyed areas; factories and workshops; public markets; electric power stations; gas works; and post offices. Among the notable sites located on the map are Dublin Castle, Trinity College, St. Stephen's Green, and the Guinness Brewery. The River Liffey snakes through the center of town. The seal of the Civics Institute and Dublin's coat of arms appear in the decorative border.
