These uncommon large-scale charts depict the southern coast of Ireland from Waterford to Cork, Shannon and Limerick. The chart is based on the work of Captain Joseph Huddart (1741–1816), a British hydrographer. The waters are filled with soundings, rocks, shoals, and safe anchorages, with numerous place names along the coast. A few profile views of mountains are depicted inland, close to the coast. The engraved Depot de la Marine seal appears below the title cartouche, along with the price Prix. Deux Francs at bottom.
