This beautifully engraved map covers the northern and western portions of Denmark. It is filled with minute detail of fortresses, cities, towns and tiny villages. The map is adorned by a very decorative title cartouche flanked by local herders and a distance scale cartouche held up by a putto.

Condition: B

Full contemporary color with scattered foxing, some minor color offsetting, and a 1.5" centerfold separation at left that has been closed on verso with old paper.
