This exquisitely engraved plan view of Harderwijk was published in Blaeu's town book of the Netherlands. It shows the city along the Zuiderzee, with spectacular detail of its fortifications and architecture. A key identifies 39 sites of interest. The coats of arms of Gelderland and Harderwijk appear in the upper corners. The title is enclosed by a drape-style cartouche. Latin text on verso.

A crisp impression with faint offsetting and some minor soiling in the top left corner.
