An attractive map of France divided into departments with towns, cities, and fortified cities located and identified. It presents good detail of the topography and larger river systems, and extends to include Basel and Geneva. Decorated by a drape-style title cartouche featuring medallions and garlands.

A crisp impression on paper with a three-crescent-moon watermark and full contemporary color. There is a faint stain adjacent to the centerfold, otherwise fine.
