Lovely map of Silesia showing the region as it was in the 17th century. Centered on the town of Beuthen (Bytom) and the Oder River and including Glogow at the lower right corner of the map. The map is full of detail on the towns and topography with forests and roads. The map is richly embellished with a number of putti on the three main cartouches and a blank cartouche and coat-of-arms in the upper left corner. Spanish text on verso, published between 1659-72.

A sharp impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with a large watermark of the god Atlas. There is a hint of toning along the centerfold, a stain in the bottom margin that just passes the neatline, and an archivally repaired centerfold separation at bottom.
