This map details the region surrounding Orvieto, including Lake Bolsena and the cities of Todi, Viterbo, and Acquapendente. The map is handsomely adorned with two strapwork cartouches featuring a pair of nude men and mythological figures. This splendid map is from Magini's important atlas - the first printed atlas of Italy, which was published posthumously by his son Fabio Magini in 1620, 1632 and 1642.
