This is a beautifully engraved map, after Sanson, that shows the location of the twelve tribes in the Holy Land. The charming title cartouche is surrounded by cherubs with a scene of the Sermon on the Mount in the background. Engraved by J. Goree for Francois Halma's Kanaan.

Condition: A

A dark impression on a bright sheet, issued folding with minor printer's ink residue, marginal soiling, and a few tiny tears along the edges of the sheet.
