This superb and uncommon engraving depicts Jacob's dream (Genesis 28:11-12), in which Jacob is sleeping against some rocks, dreaming of a stairway reaching to heaven, with several angels ascending the ladder to the tetragrammaton at top.

References:

Condition: B+

A sharp impression on a bright sheet with manuscript red-lining around the engraving and narrow side margins, as issued. There are some tiny tears along the edges of the sheet.
