The Map Collector magazine was founded by Ronald Vere Tooley in 1977. Over the next two decades it built a reputation as a highly respected resource on the history of cartography and collecting antique maps. Each issue contains a wealth of information written by the most respected researchers, collectors and dealers.
This lot includes issues 1-40, published from December 1977 to December 1987. The issues are attractively housed in 5 volumes with modern green cloth bindings and gilt title labels on spine.
