A detailed chart extending from Point Lookout north to Prince Frederick and Huntington. It reveals an early network of wagon roads and trails in the region and identifies property owners, towns, landings and more. Scores of soundings fill the St. Mary's and Patuxent rivers as well as the Chesapeake Bay. Based on earlier surveys by John James Abert and James Kearney in 1824. Drawn by Denis Callahan, engraved by J. Schedler, and lithographed by Sarony, Major & Knapp.
