This uncommon chart is based on Norwegian government charts and depicts the southwestern coastline just north of Haugesund, including part of the Hardangerfjord. The chart is filled with depth soundings, rocks, shoals, safe anchorages, and lighthouses, which are indicated in red and yellow hand color. The chart includes a table translating geographical terms from Norwegian to English. Engraved by Davies & Company.

Condition: B+

A nice impression with light soiling and a few tiny tears along the edges of the sheet. The lighthouses are marked in contemporary hand color.
