This map of southwestern Germany shows the region around Lake Constance, extending into Switzerland. The Danube River cuts across the center of the map. Hundreds of tiny towns are identified, and an abundance of topographical and political information is presented. Two decorative allegorical cartouches fill the left corners featuring Mercury, soldiers, a river god and a cornucopia.
