Two fine maps on a full folio sheet; the region centered on Venice, Padua, and Vicenza in one map and the broader Veneto region in the other. The first map is based on the cartography of Jacobo Gastaldi and is oriented with the north to the right. It is embellished with the coat of arms of Veneto. The second map is based on a manuscript map drawn by Giovanni Pinandello prior to 1579. Both maps include decorative strapwork cartouches. Latin text on verso.

A crisp impression on a sheet with the crossed arrows watermark commonly found on Ortelius maps. There are a couple of minor tape stains along the top edge of the sheet and marginal soiling, all well away from map image.
