This elegantly engraved map centers on the Caspian Sea. There is nice topographical detail and plenty of place names, including Astrakhan, Baku, Derbent, and Tehran. It extends to the Aral Sea. An ornate title cartouche with distance scale appears at bottom right. "Tome III, No. 5" appears above the neatline.
