This map depicts nearly the entire coastline of present-day Mozambique. The regions are denoted, including Inhambane and Sofala, and the rivers are well delineated, The map extends to show Madagascar, and two inset maps depict the islands of Reunion (Isla Bourbon) and Mauritius (Isle de France). Decorated with a rococo cartouche.
