This lovely engraving depicts Adam and Even in the Garden of Eden. In the foreground, Eve picks an apple from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, upon which the serpent is encircled. The garden is filled with animals. In the background, Adam and Eve are seen wearing leaves as clothing, being banished from the Garden of Eden. Drawn by David Vinckboons, engraved by Pieter Serwouters, and published by Visscher.

A nice impression with light soiling, some extraneous creasing, and archival repairs to a centerfold separation and an adjacent tear at bottom, as well as to chips in the bottom corners of the sheet.
