This early education book was authored by Shindai Yanagisawa and published by Kyu Senkan in Tokyo in Meiji 2. The text is translated from several English works and comprised of a question and answer format. The text includes engravings of the solar system, western hemisphere, eastern hemisphere, solar eclipses, and several other diagrams. The hemispheres contain very sparse information, with only a couple of major rivers and mountain ranges depicted. Printed on rice paper and bound with string in soft green cloth covers.
