This map is part of the "blue border" Disney maps, which were issued from 1966-76. This group differs from the previous series (1958-64) in that it shows Tomorrowland and the attractions Disney had created for New York's World Fair (1964-65). These maps also differ from the previous series as they lack any characters in the surrounding border. There is good detail of all the attractions, restaurants and shops with banners identifying the various parts of the park including Main Street, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. In this edition (updated from the 1966 map), the Monsanto Hall of Chemistry has been replaced with "Adventure Thru Innerspace" and the Monsanto House of the Future no longer exists. Title is enclosed in a large compass rose at lower right. No artist is noted, though the map is based upon earlier works by Sam McKim.
