This superb pictorial map by Ken Friedman is filled with images to help promote Florida tourism. The map is divided by county and includes image and notes on local attractions for each county. Surrounding the coastline are small square vignettes of important sights, as well as images of the various fish and marine wildlife that can be found in the waters surrounding the state. A suggested driving route is printed in orange with several dotted-line detours, and the main roads to enter the state are noted along the northern border. The map is filled with dozens of sights around the state, the large title cartouche brings levity, with cartoonish images and captions, such as "You'll see plenty of palms - many outstretched" and "Bathing beauties prance with reckless abandon at the bewitching seashore."
