This is one of the only city views published by Colortext Publications Inc., a marvelously detailed plan view of the company's hometown. Designed by C.L. Hawkins, it extends from Lake Michigan and the Navy Pier west to the Cook County suburbs. Among the notable sites pictured are the Art Institute of Chicago, Wrigley Field, the University of Chicago, Lincoln Park, Grant Park, Shedd Aquarium, Garfield Park Conservatory, the Union Stock Yards, Father Marquette's Cabin, Morton Salt Co. headquarters, Logan Square, Florsheim Shoe Company Building, Chicago Stadium, and much more. A key identifies 94 additional sites of interest. A dense and charming view of the city, surrounded by a brick-themed border. This example is mounted on metal fasteners at top and bottom.
