The locations of numerous settlements along the Venezuelan coast are noted, including Valencia, Caracas, and Cumana. The simple title cartouche also incorporates a distance scale, and longitude is given in upper border from the Isle de Fer and below from Paris. Alternate Dutch title appears below the neatline: Kaart van de Provintien Caracas, Comana, en Paria, in Zuid-Amerika Geleegen.
