Large map of southern France covering the region from Nice and Monaco into Italy as far as Varaggio and Invrea and extending north to show Turin. Excellent detail throughout showing towns and many walled, mountain top villages with attractive iconography. Inset of area surrounding Nice to include Fort de Montalban and le Chateau.

Condition: A

A sharp impression with contemporary outline color on a bright, sturdy watermarked sheet. There is light toning along the edges of the sheet, and the top margin is narrow, as issued. There are remnants of hinge tape on verso and binding holes in the left margin.
