Three maps elegantly composed on one folio sheet. The semicircular map of Cadiz is taken from a manuscript map drawn by George Hoefnagel during his stay from 1563-1567. The Carpetaniae map is very accurate but from an unknown source. The source of the Guipuscae map is also unknown, but de Jode also published it in 1578. Latin text on verso, published in 1603.
References: Van den Broecke #31.

A dark impression with full contemporary color on a sheet with the horn coat of arms watermark commonly found on Ortelius maps. There are a couple of stains in the image at bottom right, as well as soiling in the bottom right corner of the sheet. A centerfold separation at bottom has been archivally repaired, and there are small remnants of hinge tape on verso.
